Service Description

RedirectCheck Pro is a free, browser-based tool for analyzing HTTP redirect chains, validating HTTPS migrations, and auditing redirect configurations. All analysis is performed client-side in your browser.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use RedirectCheck Pro only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the service to analyze URLs without authorization
  • Attempt to overload or disrupt our proxy API endpoints
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Analysis Results Disclaimer

All redirect analysis results are provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. RedirectCheck Pro makes no guarantees about:

  • The accuracy or completeness of redirect chain analysis
  • The real-time status of any URL or redirect configuration
  • The security or safety of URLs you choose to analyze
  • The suitability of any recommendations for your specific use case

Always verify critical redirect configurations in a production environment before deployment. Use results for informational and educational purposes only.

Data Storage and Privacy

All user data (redirect history, preferences, analysis results) is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage. We do not collect or store your redirect analysis data on our servers. We do, however, collect anonymized, aggregate usage metrics (page views, device type, coarse geography) through Ahrefs Analytics so we can improve the product. Third-Party Services

Ahrefs Analytics

We use Ahrefs' lightweight analytics script to measure aggregate usage. The data collected is limited to page views, basic device information, and coarse geography. We do not receive IP addresses or user-level profiles, and we do not combine analytics data with your redirect analyses.

AI Features

When you opt to use AI-powered recommendations, your redirect analysis data is proxied through Vercel's AI Gateway to our configured model provider. This is:

  • Optional and triggered only by explicit user action
  • Subject to the AI Gateway and model provider's terms of service and privacy policies
  • Clearly indicated when you use these features

Analyzed URLs

When you analyze a URL, your browser makes network requests directly to that URL and potentially through our proxy API (for CORS-restricted URLs). We do not log or store the URLs you analyze.

Limitation of Liability

RedirectCheck Pro and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Inaccurate or incomplete redirect analysis results
  • Service interruptions or unavailability
  • Loss of data stored in your browser
  • Actions taken based on analysis results or recommendations
  • Security issues with third-party URLs you analyze
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Service Availability

RedirectCheck Pro is provided free of charge on an "as available" basis. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time
  • Impose usage limits or rate limiting
  • Update features and functionality without notice

Intellectual Property

The RedirectCheck Pro service, including its design, code, documentation, and branding, is protected by intellectual property rights. You may use the service for its intended purpose but may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without permission.
